Staff Product Security Engineer – Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Conduct regular security assessments on new projects, infrastructure, and code.

• Identify and address vulnerabilities in code, systems, and networks utilizing manual testing, automated tools, threat modeling, and threat intelligence.

• Stay updated on offensive security techniques, application security threats, and best practices in blockchain security; suggest enhancements to security posture.

• Prepare comprehensive findings reports and deliver presentations to management and technical teams.

• Assist in preventing real-world attacks.

• Collaborate with development teams to promote secure coding practices and ensure the integrity of cryptographic functions.

• Work alongside development and platform teams to embed security throughout the organization.

• Engage in incident response and management activities.

• Lead significant cross-team projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in offensive security techniques, particularly focusing on blockchain technology and cryptography.

• In-depth understanding of security risks, vulnerabilities, and concepts related to web and mobile applications.

• Proficient in code reviews for JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Strong comprehension of application security threats and offensive security methodologies.

• Capability to create Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to demonstrate vulnerabilities.

• Ability to review patch code in alignment with repository owner and maintainer standards.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
