This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Define the product vision and roadmap for Wealthsimple’s stablecoin initiative within the Crypto sector.
• Collaborate with external partners across infrastructure, payments, DeFi, and market ecosystems to drive growth and utility.
• Manage the complete product development lifecycle - from conception, planning, and prioritization to development and launch.
• Work closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and business stakeholders, consistently enhancing quality, performance, and ambition.
• Engage deeply with your technical colleagues to identify issues and dependencies, guiding the team toward efficient and timely solutions to fulfill your product vision.
• Decompose complex challenges and ambitious deliverables into manageable phases that provide incremental value to clients and the business.
• Interact directly with customers and design primary research to identify problems, pinpoint unmet needs, and validate potential solutions.
• Take ownership of key business outcomes and clearly communicate progress and results to R+D leadership.
• Act as a proactive owner rather than merely a coordinator — you are expected to drive initiatives forward even when the way forward is unclear.
• Contribute to enhancing the Product Management practice at Wealthsimple while fostering an inclusive and supportive team culture.
• A proven history of developing and launching products at scale that customers appreciate, with recent experience in the Crypto domain.
• Experience in leading a significant project or domain, creating an inspiring product vision, and executing a well-defined strategy to achieve results.
• Background as an individual contributor managing large, complex cross-functional projects while handling multiple dependencies.
• A shipping mindset — a demonstrated ability to make trade-offs in scope to deliver impact, test hypotheses, and establish robust client feedback loops swiftly.
• Experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research, including large-scale client studies, to uncover insights and inform product roadmap direction.
• A strong inclination towards action and the capability to set the tone for stakeholders to achieve results in a dynamic environment.
• The ability to impose structure on ambiguity, simplify complex issues, and effectively communicate insights and viewpoints, both verbally and in writing.
• Technical proficiency to discuss architecture and technical considerations with engineers, along with a solid understanding of how design, product, and engineering collaborate to deliver high-quality experiences efficiently and at scale.
• Experience in owning key business outcomes and reporting to executive leadership.
• A curious mindset and eagerness to learn. You delve deep into any challenge you face until you uncover what truly matters. You frequently ask “why?”
