Senior Product Manager – Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will take the lead in managing the processes and outcomes related to data ingestion, querying, retrieval, storage, and our internal design system, ensuring that this work is aligned to enhance product delivery for our customers.

• You will comprehend a variety of stakeholder needs, from customers to internal teams, prioritizing scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions that support long-term company and product strategic goals.

• You will work closely with engineering teams on the platform and collaborate with product and design teams within our cross-functional groups.

• You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the developer experience at Honeycomb and determine how best to support it with foundational platform principles.

• You will cultivate relationships and facilitate significant technical discussions across the organization, partnering with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. Maintaining close connections with field personnel is a critical aspect of this role.

• You will naturally focus on empathetically understanding users, their challenges, and their satisfaction, and you will be unwavering in advocating for their best interests within the product.

• You will receive directional guidance from key stakeholders and use it as a foundation for your own product discovery initiatives.

• You will contribute to a community of practice among fellow Product Managers, promoting a culture of cohesion and sharing knowledge.

• Success will be measured by your ability to align the field and product engineering with your vision, enhance measurable customer outcomes, and be recognized as a subject matter expert within the organization.

• You are comfortable and interested in technically complex environments, whether you come from a development background or have experience working on technical SaaS products. Previous work or user experience with tracing, metrics, monitoring, or analytics software is highly preferred.
