This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a strategic roadmap to implement a world-class personalization strategy, providing relevant and customized experiences throughout the Weedmaps platform.
• Collaborate with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence teams to establish and enhance personalization capabilities, such as product recommendations, personalized search rankings, and AI-driven features.
• Convert business objectives and customer demands into a well-structured and optimized product roadmap.
• Manage and prioritize a backlog, ensuring that new features and improvements are validated and thoroughly specified.
• Lead a cross-functional team to efficiently realize the personalization vision, ensuring alignment among stakeholders in product, engineering, data science, and design.
• Track the adoption, engagement, and revenue impact of personalization features, reporting on release performance as required.
• Collaborate with product, program, and engineering leaders across the organization to steer the platform roadmap, identifying new opportunities for scalable personalization.
• Supervise enterprise-level product planning, including the identification of new personalization opportunities and maintaining a dynamic roadmap of business projects and technological initiatives.
• Produce comprehensive and detail-oriented product requirements documents, ensuring clear communication with business, design, and development teams.
• Engage with customers through multiple channels, representing the voice of the customer internally and leveraging insights to refine the personalization strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 8 years of product management experience within a technology-driven industry.
• Proven experience operating at a staff or principal level, steering product strategy across various teams or domains.
• Strong data background utilizing self-service analytics tools (such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap, etc.).
• Experience collaborating with ML/AI teams to develop and launch personalization systems, recommendation engines, or intelligent ranking models.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in consumer-facing online commerce, point-of-sale, or marketplace environments.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a personalization, search, or ML-powered product stack at scale.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and foster organization-wide alignment on complex and ambiguous issues.
