This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Take charge of JLL's Falcon developer platform, overseeing all engineering releases, including CI/CD, dependency upgrades, and the developer portal.
• Develop automated create, UAT, and production pipelines for every application and service, with significant investment in MCP servers and agents.
• Incorporate observability and governance as standard features.
• Ensure teams stay updated as packages, services, and skills evolve.
• Collaborate closely with teams utilizing the platform to pinpoint inefficiencies and transform requirements into platform functionalities.
• Offer tracing, assessments, and cost attribution following the initial deployment.
• Integrate governance within pipelines to help teams maintain compliance automatically.
• Draft specifications, prototypes, skills, and occasional pull requests while leading the team.
• Guide a dedicated team of engineers and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs).
• Work in partnership with engineering leaders, principal architects, and security professionals on a daily basis.
• Track progress through production agents, the time taken to first production agent or service, pipeline enhancement speed, and platform backlog velocity.
• Report directly to the Head of Product, AI Platform.
• Establish and develop this function with a focus on delivering functional code.
• Over 8 years of experience in product management or technical product leadership in platform, infrastructure, or developer-tooling products at the Staff IC level.
• Hands-on experience in LLM and agent development, including agents, MCP, and tool invocation, performed personally.
• Proven history of building platforms that developers prefer to use.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, cloud runtime trade-offs, and internal engineering tools.
• Experience with GitHub Actions at scale, dependency management, and developer portals.
• Capability to maintain a technical stance with architects and security under pressure.
• Background in a large, distributed, global organization.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Preferred: Knowledge of AWS, particularly Bedrock; Kubernetes; Terraform; GitOps.
• Preferred: Experience with SDLC and architecture-governance processes.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Harness engineering/AiDLC.
• Preferred: Knowledge of LLM observability and evaluation tools, encompassing OTEL, evaluation frameworks, and cost attribution.
• Preferred: Experience with internal developer platforms or golden paths at enterprise scale, including Backstage.
