Staff Product Designer – Presence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish the UX strategy and experience architecture across various Presence initiatives.

• Design essential experiences related to identity, profiles, community representation, Reddit Pro, and new product areas.

• Transform unclear opportunities into definitive product direction, scalable frameworks, and engaging experiences.

• Utilize AI-assisted design and coding tools to develop functional prototypes and expedite decision-making.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and senior leadership to influence product trajectories.

• Unite teams around common principles, trade-offs, and a long-term vision.

• Enhance the standards for interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, and reusable design patterns.

• Guide designers and advance the team's approach to systems thinking, craftsmanship, and AI-driven design.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 to 10+ years of experience in product design, including intricate, cross-functional projects in consumer technology.

• Strong systems thinking with a background in designing platform-level or reusable product experiences.

• Outstanding skills in interaction design, information architecture, and product strategy.

• Ability to navigate uncertainty while balancing long-term visions with immediate execution.

• Proven history of influencing senior stakeholders and aligning teams without direct authority.

• Excellent storytelling, facilitation, and communication abilities.

• Experience with AI-assisted design or coding tools for exploring, prototyping, and conveying ideas.

• A portfolio that showcases Staff-level thinking, strong craftsmanship, and significant product or organizational impact.
