Staff Product Designer, Flights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across various disciplines to identify and implement features that effectively address user needs.

• Exhibit AI-native methodologies for the Flights team.

• Simplify complex concepts into user-friendly flows.

• Design with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes.

• Foster trust and teamwork with colleagues in product, engineering, and design, while enhancing overall quality standards.

• Facilitate design reviews and improve the processes for gathering feedback and making decisions.

• Encourage fellow designers to refine their skills and enhance clarity.

• Establish the design standards for Flights Search, influencing how travelers find, compare, and select flights.

• Create scalable systems, patterns, templates, and components.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams at the architectural level.

• Develop code prototypes and incorporate AI into the design process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in the complete product development lifecycle, from planning and discovery to concept creation, build-ready designs, and prototypes.

• Proficiency in building prototypes using code.

• Regular utilization of AI within the design workflow.

• Familiarity with Cursor and Figma Make.

• Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with product managers, engineers, data teams, and executives.

• Capability to design patterns, templates, and components that empower PMs and EMs to operate independently.

• Strong communication and storytelling abilities.

• Skill in transforming complex ideas into straightforward, digestible flows.
