This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +10 more states.
• Design essential features that improve the customer onboarding experience while ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate closely with other product designers as well as product and engineering stakeholders.
• Utilize UX best practices to explore and refine solutions.
• Take ownership of your work and prioritize tasks to maximize impact, aligning with design and business objectives.
• Apply customer and product knowledge to contribute frequently and effectively to your product team's roadmap.
• Advocate for the prioritization of work by leveraging your understanding of business goals.
• Independently define project scope and leverage a solid grasp of UI best practices to design experiences that span multiple pages or states.
• Lead or co-lead research initiatives, utilizing insights to inform design decisions and uncover opportunities for the product team.
• Document and communicate decision-making processes clearly and understandably.
• Manage feedback effectively and escalate risks as necessary.
• Design and facilitate team discussions aimed at resolving challenges.
• Establish essential commitments with PM and Engineering partners.
• Proven ability to independently lead comprehensive user-centered design initiatives and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in delivering high-quality user interfaces and workflows in a systematic, detail-oriented manner, focusing on strategic design decisions and impactful solutions.
• Strong skills in facilitation and presentation, with the capacity to offer constructive feedback to colleagues.
• A "Builder" mindset, demonstrated by a history of driving initiatives forward with resilience and adaptability.
• Minimum of 8 years of industry experience and a relevant degree or equivalent experience in software interface design and/or development. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction or Design is a plus.
