Staff Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design vision and user experience for products in a rapidly growing startup.

• Develop high-fidelity UI designs, prototypes, and interaction models for both web and mobile platforms.

• Create and sustain scalable design systems across various products.

• Work in conjunction with engineering and product teams to ensure design strategies align with business objectives.

• Perform user research, usability testing, and A/B experiments.

• Champion accessibility, usability, and principles of human-centered design.

• Set up UX/UI workflows, documentation, and best practices for cross-functional collaboration.

• Mentor junior designers and cultivate a robust design culture.

• Submit an application to become part of SignalFire’s Talent Ecosystem.

• Collaborate with SignalFire talent partners and leaders from portfolio companies when suitable opportunities arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or interaction design.

• Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like Framer, InVision, and Principle.

• Experience in designing complex applications, AI-driven interfaces, or enterprise SaaS products.

• Strong grasp of user research, usability testing, and making data-informed design choices.

• Demonstrated ability to create and scale design systems across multiple products.

• Understanding of motion design, micro-interactions, and responsive UI principles.

• Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective collaboration with engineering teams.

• Experience in dynamic startup environments or working within cross-functional teams.

• Capability to lead product design initiatives and influence user experience on a large scale.

• Skills to mentor designers, work cross-functionally, and drive user research efforts.
