Staff Platform Manager, Airfam Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold the product vision, strategy, and multi-horizon roadmap encompassing One Airbnb, Chrome Tab, and Awedience.

• Drive prioritization amidst a wide array of inbound requests, making informed, well-considered decisions regarding features to develop and those to forgo.

• Collaborate with engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver high-quality features that enhance employee productivity and connectivity.

• Foster alignment among cross-functional stakeholders, including EX, Ground Control, Content Products, Collaboration Products, and BizTech leadership.

• Assess new product opportunities and present proposals—whether to build, buy, or partner—to enhance employee experience capabilities.

• Establish goals and measures of success through clearly defined objectives and key results.

• Thoughtfully integrate AI into the product roadmap, collaborating with engineering to influence the evolution of One Airbnb as an AI-driven employee experience.

• Evaluate product performance and leverage data-driven insights to promote continuous improvement and user adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years managing a platform or multi-surface product portfolio.

• Proven history of independently setting product direction and achieving results within a cross-functional setting.

• Strong prioritization skills—capable of making difficult decisions, managing stakeholder expectations, and maintaining focus on scope.

• Exceptional communication and influencing abilities; skilled at building consensus among a diverse group of senior stakeholders without escalating issues to management.

• Experience with internal tooling, employee experience, or enterprise productivity products is advantageous.

• Proven capability to collaborate effectively with engineering on technical strategy and AI/platform investments.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills: synthesizes competing stakeholder needs, influences strategy, and provides clarity amidst uncertainty.
