Staff Platform Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Construct, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Design and uphold CI/CD pipelines.

• Create and improve a self-service platform tailored for data scientists and engineers.

• Integrate security, data governance, quality, and compliance into the design process.

• Assess and incorporate new tools and services.

• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to convert requirements into actionable capabilities.

• Mentor engineers while promoting technical standards and ongoing learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software, platform, or infrastructure engineering.

• A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Extensive, hands-on knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform.

• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Bash).

• Solid understanding of security and networking principles for provisioning secure cloud resources.

• Demonstrated capability to set the technical direction at a platform scale.
