Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for the design, implementation, and management of OpenStack and Kubernetes environments, ensuring optimal platform performance, scalability, and resilience for GPU workloads.

• Develop and enhance infrastructure utilizing infrastructure-as-code and GitOps methodologies, promoting automation in provisioning, deployment, and operational processes.

• Improve GPU workload scheduling through Kubernetes and NVIDIA tools, while establishing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to guarantee platform stability.

• Lead incident response initiatives and foster continuous improvements in reliability throughout the platform.

• Uphold stringent security measures across both infrastructure and container layers, including RBAC, network policies, and tenant isolation.

• Collaborate closely with Platform, DevOps, AI, Product, and Support teams to ensure infrastructure capabilities meet customer and platform demands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience managing OpenStack in production settings.

• Demonstrated ability to operate Kubernetes at scale, preferably in bare-metal or private cloud environments.

• Strong comprehension of Linux, networking, and storage systems.

• Proficiency in infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows.

• A strong sense of ownership — able to operate independently and effectively simplify and scale systems in a dynamic environment.

• Experience integrating Kubernetes with OpenStack (Nice to Have).

• Familiarity with GPU infrastructure, HPC, or large-scale compute environments (Nice to Have).

• Understanding of advanced networking or cloud-native ecosystems (Nice to Have).

• Contributions to open-source projects (Nice to Have).
