
Staff Physician, Primary Care – Telemedicine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with a healthcare team to deliver outstanding primary care services to patients through virtual video and phone communication channels, adhering to the care standards for primary care patients.
• Order laboratory and radiology tests, and refer patients to specialists as necessary.
• Be readily available to the Care Team to address issues and ensure timely care for the entire patient panel.
• Evaluate reports, test results, medical records, and examinations to diagnose patients' conditions and suggest treatment options.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans for diagnosed medical conditions, including discussing potential side effects and risks related to allergies, interactions with other medications, and/or health conditions when appropriate.
• Offer guidance to patients on lifestyle and dietary modifications that could enhance their health or aid in the treatment of their current health concerns.
• Consistently achieve or surpass clinical quality and patient care standards, including compliance with department policies, procedures, and objectives.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all federal and state regulations regarding health information privacy.
• Document comprehensive, timely, and legible medical records.
• Attend meetings, one-on-one provider evaluations, and other mandatory meetings as determined by leadership.
• Demonstrate understanding and provide support for the full spectrum of Teladoc services, including medical second opinions, treatment decision support, behavioral health, tele-dermatology, and other offerings as needed.
• Assist the Medical Director and product team in the creation of new products and services as required.
• Provide collaborative oversight of advanced practice providers as dictated by business requirements.
• A minimum of 5 years of post-residency experience as a Primary Care Physician in a clinical environment.
• ABMS board certification in primary care or a related field obtained through successful completion of a residency at an accredited healthcare institution in Family Medicine or IM/Peds.
• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school in the United States.
• Possession of at least 3 active, unrestricted State Medical Practitioner licenses.
• No disciplinary actions in the past 5 years.
• Eligible for Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration.
• Must be a resident of the United States and not require sponsorship.
