This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Perform virtual assessments of patients, which encompass medical history taking, physical examinations, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of common ailments and injuries.
• Create and execute treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
• Offer health promotion, disease prevention strategies, education, and counseling services.
• Order and analyze laboratory tests and imaging studies.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.
• Monitor the progress of patients and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Address patient inquiries, resolve concerns, and encourage healthy lifestyle choices.
• Work in partnership with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure precise electronic health records are maintained for all patient interactions.
• Stay updated on advancements in healthcare technology, telemedicine practices, and professional standards.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within virtual primary care.
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse holding a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• Active, unencumbered Board Certification from ANCC or AANP.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care or family practice post-graduation.
• No disciplinary actions taken in the past 5 years.
• Nurse Practitioner license in at least 3 states at the time of the interview.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in up to all 50 states.
• Maintain a valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification in the states where the virtual primary care practice operates.
• Availability to work some evenings until 9 PM EST and occasional Saturdays.
• At least 1 year of experience in obesity medicine is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of independent remote or hybrid virtual primary care experience is highly desired.
• Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
