
Staff Medical & Scientific Affairs Liaison – Cardiometabolic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +5 more states.
• Develop and execute strategic engagement initiatives with KOLs, clinicians, laboratorians, and medical organizations in the field of cardiometabolic diagnostics.
• Provide support for clinical studies and research projects by offering scientific and technical expertise.
• Maintain ongoing communication with external KOLs and authors.
• Educate MSL teams on research funnel opportunities and messaging strategies.
• Serve as a scientific authority in cardiometabolic diagnostics.
• Deliver medical, scientific, and practical education to both internal and external partners.
• Convey complex scientific information effectively across the MSL organization.
• Offer clinical support during voice-of-customer sessions.
• Stay updated on current research, publications, and emerging trends in cardiometabolic health.
• Prepare presentation materials and engage in symposia, conferences, and educational events.
• Train Sales and Marketing teams on scientific messaging strategies.
• Connect Beckman Coulter with cardiometabolic customers through expertise in products, business, and literature.
• Bachelor's degree with over 9 years of experience, or a Master's/Doctoral degree with a minimum of 5 years in the healthcare industry.
• In-depth knowledge of the relevant therapeutic area is essential.
• Preferred extensive understanding of cardiometabolic diagnostics and techniques.
• Strong grasp of clinical research methodologies, regulatory standards, and medical terminology.
• Proven capability to build and sustain relationships with KOLs, clinicians, and healthcare professionals.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in conveying complex scientific ideas to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
• Willingness to travel at least 20–25% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Over 10 years of product and domain knowledge in healthcare technologies and market trends is advantageous.
• More than 5 years of MSL/Medical Affairs experience in medical technology or medical device roles is a plus.
• A PhD, MBA, or Master’s degree in a business-related field is a plus.
