Staff Machine Learning Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical design and implementation of multi-agent systems that are capable of autonomous hypothesis generation and tool utilization.

• Integrate and enhance Natera’s transformer-based foundational model.

• Deploy advanced reasoning frameworks for large language models (LLMs).

• Design systems that independently convert complex, multi-modal data into diagnostic and therapeutic insights.

• Take ownership of the technical strategy and product roadmap for agentic workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in AI research or engineering.

• Extensive experience with agentic frameworks, such as LangChain or Claude Agent SDK.

• Strong knowledge of cancer genomics (WES/WTS), mutational signatures, and structure-activity relationships.

• Advanced development experience at the production level using PyTorch.
