Staff IT Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Modern Access: Oversee the complete management of our Zero Trust (ZTNA) platform.

• Facilitate Collaboration with Stakeholders: Serve as a strategic connector between IT and our Engineering and Product teams.

• Expert Debugging & Troubleshooting: Act as the ultimate escalation resource for intricate connectivity challenges.

• Enhance Efficiency through Automation: Utilize scripting and Infrastructure as Code to handle global configurations.

• Command the Endpoint: Manage and secure a global, hybrid fleet effectively.

• Ownership of Vulnerabilities: Develop remediation strategies upon the identification of vulnerabilities.

• Leadership in Identity & SaaS: Oversee our essential productivity suite.

• Supportive Role: Offer IT service desk assistance when required.

• Security-Oriented: Maintain a robust security posture across all systems.

• Advocate for AI: Encourage the adoption of approved AI solutions throughout our technology stack.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (a technical field is advantageous, but not mandatory)

• 6-10 years of experience in Systems Administration with a solid history of managing global, high-growth, cloud-first environments.

• In-depth, hands-on experience in creating context-aware access policies.

• Strong background in security incident prevention, detection, and response.

• Advanced knowledge of CrowdStrike Falcon (particularly RTR and vulnerability modules) and its integration with ZTNA for posture-based access.

• Familiarity with security assurance standards such as SOC 2 is a plus.

• Expert knowledge of macOS; knowledge of Windows and Linux is an added benefit.

• High proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Javascript, and/or Bash.

• Identity-focused perspective with extensive experience in Okta and IAM.

• Significant experience with cloud infrastructure services like AWS and GCP.

• Strong experience in managing Kandji/Iru, Intune, ZTNA, O365, and Azure AD/Entra ID in a distributed, enterprise environment.

• Expert knowledge of Google Workspace.

• Experience with cloud service integrations such as Zoom, Slack, and Atlassian.

• Experience in managing and maintaining Agentic AI or LLM solutions.
