This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Supports the administration of P2P systems applications.
• Responsibilities include developing and executing test plans, coordinating testing with functional users, and documenting the results.
• Collaborates with various technical support teams, both internal and external, to address the technology requests and needs of the P2P team and its customers.
• Aids in the execution of P2P systems projects.
• Assists in identifying functionality issues, documenting potential solutions, and working with technical support teams to fulfill the technology requests of the P2P team and its customers.
• Undertakes various process improvement projects by utilizing system functionality.
• Aims to optimize P2P business functions and guides all groups in the implementation of best practices and workflows.
• Provides support and cross-training for areas of responsibility to other P2P team members regarding related business practices and their connection to the systems’ objectives.
• Aids in data mining and compilation, as well as report writing.
• Assists in the development of dashboards across all sections of P2P systems.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related field.
• At least one (1) year of experience in the following:
• Proven ability to research, develop, and implement technical solutions to support operations, training, reporting, and archival needs.
• Specific experience with the design, configuration of business processes, and administration of financial or P2P systems.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to engage with staff at all organizational levels.
• Proficient in conveying complex technical terms and processes to cross-functional groups.
• Ability to comprehend documents such as Technical Specifications, Solutions Approach, standards, specifications, and reports.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with facilities management systems, financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP), e-procurement tools, etc.
• Familiarity with methods for retrieving, compiling, and integrating data from various database sources such as Oracle, SQL, or Microsoft Access.
• Competence in managing and prioritizing multiple work assignments to ensure timely and quality completion.
• Ability to work independently to meet specific deadlines and address associated problem-solving tasks.
• Logical reasoning skills to analyze and resolve complex issues.
• Capability to assess the impact of available options towards resolution.
• Proficient in designing reports that summarize results effectively.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Graduate degree; experience with an e-procurement tool; experience in BI Publisher Reports customization and development; experience with Workday.
