This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Offer expertise in new system design, functional requirements, and work/data flows that facilitate the system implementation process.
• Oversee, configure, and support enterprise financial systems, including ERP, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting platforms.
• Manage various system environments (production, test, development), along with upgrades, patches, and release cycles.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to develop workflow/system optimization strategies, ensuring continuous automation of workflows and system advancement.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and integrations, while addressing complex system issues.
• Collaborate directly with financial staff and leaders to create detailed reporting/analytics requirements that support organizational and departmental financial reporting/analytics.
• Design and uphold role-based security, user provisioning, and access controls, ensuring compliance with SOX, internal controls, audit standards, and organizational policies, while providing system documentation and access evidence during internal and external audits.
• Lead the integration of financial/ERP/non-clinical systems with upstream and downstream applications, working alongside vendors and internal IT teams on system enhancements, new modules, and implementations, as well as leading system testing, validation, and change management efforts.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reconciliation across systems, assisting Finance with reporting, analytics, data extraction, and troubleshooting, while identifying and addressing root causes of data and interface issues.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert and escalation point, mentoring junior administrators and establishing best practices in system administration, while identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance automation and efficiency in collaboration with financial staff and leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in administering enterprise financial or ERP systems.
• Strong advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to system reliability.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience with financial planning, consolidation, or reporting tools such as Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive, or OneStream.
• Significant hands-on experience with platforms like MS Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar systems.
• Advanced understanding of system security, access controls, and financial application architecture.
• Familiarity with SOX, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Experience with SQL, reporting tools (MS Power BI, SPSS, Crystal Reports, etc.), integrations, APIs, or middleware tools.
• Relevant certifications, including Dynamics 365 Business Central and MS Power BI.
