Staff Full-stack Engineer, Frontend, JavaScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Providing cutting-edge solutions that eliminate barriers in remote support, ensuring high quality, user-friendly, and cross-browser experiences while utilizing modern AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and solution quality.

• Leading technical initiatives within a team or organization, taking on leadership roles, and advocating for the responsible integration of AI-supported engineering practices.

• Designing, constructing, and maintaining reusable, high-performing, and reliable UI components, single-page applications, and micro-services that serve millions of users by closely collaborating with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, UI design, and scope, while employing AI tools to assist in design, prototyping, and implementation when beneficial.

• Developing high-quality software, ensuring comprehensive coverage of your code with unit and integration tests, conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback to colleagues, mentoring others, and continually enhancing both personal and team processes, brainstorming ideas within a cross-functional team in an agile setting, taking ownership of features and epics alongside a dedicated team of enthusiastic and skilled professionals, leveraging AI when appropriate to aid in analysis, documentation, and decision-making while maintaining transparency and alignment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a similar role within the software industry.

• Exceptional grasp of the JavaScript ecosystem.

• Strong experience in developing maintainable Single Page Applications using React, designing and creating backend API microservices with Node.js, including automated unit and integration testing and continuous integration; familiarity with TypeScript, Web Components, GraphQL APIs, Docker, WebRTC, WebSocket, and AWS platform is an advantage.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code generation, analysis, and automation) or a strong willingness to adopt such tools, accompanied by an understanding of their limitations and best practices.

• Openness to learning and experimenting with new technologies and software development methodologies, including emerging AI-driven engineering practices that provide added value.

• An engineering mindset, a self-starter attitude, ownership of tasks, and the ability to drive topics to completion and ensure customer success; self-motivated, thriving in a fast-paced agile environment, and attentive to details that matter.
