Staff Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale frontend applications for both web and mobile platforms.

• Develop and enhance high-performance applications using React and React Native.

• Establish and uphold frontend best practices, focusing on performance optimization, accessibility, and maintainability.

• Create shared component libraries, design systems, and frontend infrastructure to boost team productivity.

• Propel enhancements in application performance, reliability, and user experience.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver integrated, user-centered features.

• Provide mentorship to junior frontend engineers.

• Shape the technical direction and frontend strategy across various product domains.

• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate frontend and cross-stack issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, particularly in frontend development.

• Experience in developing Claude/Cursor skills to enhance frontend best practices.

• A bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and contemporary frontend frameworks, especially React.

• Experience in architecting and scaling complex frontend applications and systems.

• Strong grasp of performance optimization, state management, and frontend architectural patterns.

• Experience in building and maintaining design systems or shared component libraries.

• Familiarity with mobile development, such as React Native or similar technologies, is advantageous.

• Solid understanding of APIs and backend interactions (REST, GraphQL, etc.).

• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor fellow engineers.

• Excellent communication skills and a product-oriented mindset.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
