Staff Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical authority within the frontend team, engaging in architectural decisions and conducting code reviews.

• Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to develop robust and scalable solutions.

• Drive continuous enhancements in frontend performance, accessibility, and security.

• Create and implement interactive user interfaces with a strong emphasis on user experience and usability.

• Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code, fostering best practices and a quality-focused culture.

• Provide mentorship to developers, sharing knowledge and best practices.

• Investigate and assess new technologies and frameworks, introducing innovation to the team.

• Contribute to the establishment of frontend standards and guidelines throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Professional experience: Involvement in large-scale projects, offering technical leadership, serving as a reference for the team, and aiding in developer mentorship.

• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Experience with integration of RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge in frontend architecture with a focus on performance, accessibility (WCAG), and technical SEO.

• Familiarity with automated testing (Jest, Cypress, Mocha, or similar).

• Experience with build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite).

• Skills in CI/CD and version control using Git.

• Nice to have: Experience in developing and maintaining Design Systems.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS).
