Staff Front-End Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable, high-performance front-end applications.

• Lead initiatives to enhance web performance, accessibility, and overall user experience.

• Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to develop seamless, intuitive user interfaces.

• Define and establish front-end architecture, component libraries, and design systems.

• Optimize state management, API integrations, and front-end workflows.

• Set best practices for front-end development, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

• Submit an application to become part of SignalFire’s Talent Ecosystem.

• SignalFire reviews applications continuously and shares profiles with portfolio companies when a suitable match arises.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development.

• Proven history of delivering high-quality web applications.

• In-depth expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, such as React, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte.

• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Experience in integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.

• Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, Recoil, Vuex, or MobX.

• Understanding of server-side rendering and static site generation, including Next.js or Nuxt.js.

• Solid grasp of web performance optimization, accessibility (a11y), and security best practices.

• Proficient with Git, CI/CD workflows, and front-end testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Experience in early-stage startups or fast-growing environments.
