This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist leaders throughout IonQ in making informed decisions via financial analysis.

• Guide various departments in strategic planning while helping to identify and prioritize opportunities.

• Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and forecasts.

• Work together on the organization-wide budget.

• Enhance the measurability and oversight of company expenditures.

• Generate timely and precise financial reports for stakeholders.

• Act as a financial strategist for cross-departmental initiatives, including product definition and manufacturing.

• Refine planning and reporting processes and systems.

• Assist with investor relations and corporate development functions, including quarterly earnings processes, as necessary.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast, measure, visualize, and analyze the financial components of the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in Finance, mathematics, or a technical field (such as engineering or physics).

• At least 3-7 years of relevant experience.

• Strong familiarity with financial statements and proficiency in Microsoft Excel models.

• Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills.

• Experience in a prominent banking, consulting, finance, or strategy analyst program is preferred.

• Background in financial planning & analysis; knowledge of budgeting and strategic planning processes is advantageous.

• Experience in a fast-growing startup or technology company is preferred.

• A passion for quantum computing, engineering, and physics is preferred.

• Ability to understand, simplify, and convey highly technical information is preferred.
