Staff Engineer, Systems Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Design and create system architectures.

• Specify essential system functionalities and performance criteria.

• Set design and technology maturity limitations in accordance with customer requirements.

• Outline external system interfaces to enhance integration with other systems.

• Formulate the system implementation strategy and operational framework.

• Partner with systems engineers to validate requirements and assess system performance in collaboration with customers.

• Assist in Armament Systems Development and Architecture initiatives employing a Model-Based Systems Engineering methodology.

• Generate, revise, and manage systems architecture throughout the entire program lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a STEM field along with 12 years of experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture, or a Master's degree with 10 years of experience.

• Expertise in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Capability to obtain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level.

• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and data management tools.

• Familiarity with Cameo System Modeler or Cameo Enterprise Architect.

• Background in Model-Based Systems Engineering.

• Proficient in Systems Modeling Language (SysML).

• Knowledgeable in the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
