This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
β’ Perform technical evaluations of certification initiatives.
β’ Execute QAN/QAR audits and manage associated corrective measures.
β’ Serve as an individual contributor leading quality assessments in the explosive atmosphere sector.
β’ Ensure manufacturer and factory adherence to EN/ISO/IEC 80079-34, IECEx 02, ISO 9001:2015, and other pertinent standards.
β’ Assess client QAN/QAR submissions for thoroughness prior to formal audits.
β’ Develop audit schedules, agendas, checklists, and related materials.
β’ Generate audit reports and technical documentation for Certification Decisions.
β’ Record audit results and NCRs in QAN/QAR audit reports.
β’ Evaluate client NCR responses and confirm the effectiveness of corrective actions.
β’ Create QAN and QAR certificates in compliance with IECEx and ATEX standards.
β’ Collaborate with audit, inspection, and operational teams on annual audit planning.
β’ Review audit reports from peers, affiliates, and contract auditors.
β’ Maintain audit traceability and secure audit evidence.
β’ Manage suspension, cancellation, and reinstatement of authorized manufacturers and facilities based on audit results.
β’ Conduct specialized audits and surveillance inspections, including KOSHA, KGS, and INMETRO.
β’ Execute NRTL IECEx and ATEX project reviews for intrinsic safety, non-incendive, optical radiation, and other protection methods.
β’ Offer insights on Ex projects managed by affiliate network engineers.
β’ Relay findings and project updates to Certification, Quality, and Management teams.
β’ Engage in external audits conducted by national and international accreditation organizations.
β’ Track recurring issues and trends to promote continuous improvement.
β’ Stay updated on internal policies, global standards, and industry quality requirements.
β’ Undertake additional responsibilities supporting the Hazardous Location certification team.
β’ BSEE, BSCS, or an equivalent degree.
β’ A minimum of 3β5 years of experience with NRTL, IECEx, or ATEX manufacturers or hazardous location conformity assessment bodies.
β’ ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor certification from an IRCA or an equivalent accredited coursework provider is preferred.
β’ Authorized IECEx Quality Assessment Report (QAR) auditor certification is preferred.
β’ Previous experience in conducting or participating in internal and external audits is preferred.
β’ Prior experience in reviewing IECEx and ATEX technical reports (ExTRs) is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with NRTL, ATEX, and IECEx regulatory requirements.
β’ Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent quality system/standard requirements.
β’ Knowledge of Ex protection methods and facility inspection techniques.
β’ Understanding of EN/ISO/IEC 80079-34 standards.
β’ Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
β’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Strong analytical, diagnostic skills, and attention to detail.
β’ Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ High level of accuracy and effective presentation skills.
β’ Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented mindset, and adaptability.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively with international SGS personnel and clients.
