This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish the technical trajectory, decompose roadmaps, and guide engineers through the design, implementation, and deployment of DevEx projects.

• Standardize the build/test/release workflows utilizing Jenkins and GitHub (Actions/Apps), incorporating reusable pipelines, shared libraries, and policy gates.

• Manage and enhance Flux-based GitOps for environment promotion, rollback, and drift detection across various clusters.

• Define and uphold Helm chart standards, release protocols, and documentation for service teams.

• Create guardrails, multi-tenant patterns, and golden templates on EKS, with support for GKE/Rancher and other distributions as applicable.

• Develop uniform developer workflows that span AWS and on-premises data centers/virtualization platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity, secrets management, and artifact flow from start to finish.

• Set SLOs for platform services; integrate logs, metrics, traces, progressive delivery, and automated rollback processes.

• Incorporate security scanning, SBOMs, and policy-as-code into pipelines and cluster admission procedures.

• Create high-quality documentation, examples, CLI/templates, and conduct office hours to elevate team capabilities.

• Collaborate with Security, SRE, and product teams; articulate trade-offs and progress to engineering leadership.

• Advocate for the thoughtful integration of AI to enhance team performance and business results.

• Utilize AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data copilots) to boost productivity, decision-making, and quality of output in daily tasks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in platform, DevOps, or SRE roles, including at least 2 years in leadership or mentorship positions.

• Proven history of delivering platform capabilities utilized by multiple teams.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; capable of writing clear design documentation and presenting trade-offs effectively.

• Established technical leadership in platform, DevEx, or infrastructure teams; experienced in mentoring and influencing across teams.

• Extensive experience with AWS and on-premises (physical data centers, servers, virtualization platforms).

• Proficient in CI/CD design, artifact/version management strategies, trunk-based development, and environment promotion.

• Expertise in reliability, capacity planning, incident playbooks, and post-incident enhancements.
