This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize Doximity's vast datasets to enhance, refine, and assess AI products designed for healthcare professionals on our platform.

• Contribute significantly to the development of both product and client-facing analytics.

• Shape the data team’s strategy by collaborating with product leaders and managers. Take an active role in the execution and some planning of the organizational data team strategy.

• Work alongside a team of product managers, analysts, and other developers to define and spearhead data projects from ingestion to analysis and recommendations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in similar roles involving complex, high-volume datasets.

• In-depth understanding of statistical concepts, especially exploratory data analysis, experimental design, and probability theory.

• Profound knowledge of contemporary machine learning techniques, including deep learning architectures, reinforcement learning, and large language model (LLM) fine-tuning methods like Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), Direct Preference Optimization (DPO), and Reinforcement Fine-Tuning (RFT).

• Demonstrated ability to design, train, and evaluate large-scale models using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL — adept at crafting and optimizing intricate queries across multiple tables and data relationships.

• Strong Python skills, including a solid grasp of object-oriented programming, production-grade code design, and contemporary data science libraries.

• Practical experience with distributed data processing tools and concepts for scalable analysis and model training.

• Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills, with the ability to convert technical insights into clear, engaging narratives for stakeholders.

• Inquisitive, quick learner with a clear passion for data, ongoing learning, and keeping up with advancements in machine learning research.
