This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and direct Evergreen Finance’s enterprise data strategy, ensuring alignment of data capabilities with business goals.

• Oversee and enhance the data platform, guaranteeing its scalability, security, and suitability for both analytics and operational purposes.

• Implement and integrate data governance, quality measures, and standards throughout the organization.

• Create and manage a high-performing data engineering team, establishing delivery standards and efficient workflows.

• Promote a data-driven culture and enhance maturity, facilitating self-service analytics and boosting data literacy across business units.

• Serve as the primary communication and advocacy leader for data, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in defining and executing data strategies at the organizational level, including ownership of platforms.

• Strong expertise in contemporary data platforms (such as cloud data warehousing, data pipelines, and governance tools).

• Proven leadership experience in managing data engineering or platform teams, including delivery oversight and capability development.

• Background in implementing data governance frameworks, focusing on data quality, lineage, and stewardship.

• Successful history of enhancing data maturity and facilitating self-service analytics in a business context.

• Capacity to engage with senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional adoption of data-informed practices.
