This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support for commercial initiatives related to partnerships with data center clients and development activities.
• Assist in site evaluations, develop marketing materials for commercial discussions, and support cross-functional teams.
• Implement strategies to enhance Longroad’s visibility and opportunities within the expanding data center sector.
• Keep track of regulatory, policy, and commercial trends that affect data center load demand.
• Monitor utility tariffs, rate structures, and processes for load interconnection.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and consultants.
• Oversee large load application processes for projects across various U.S. markets.
• Assist with land-related activities and due diligence efforts.
• Help maintain an organized pipeline of data center opportunities.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate development, infrastructure development, or large-scale industrial/commercial projects.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in real estate, engineering, planning, business, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of the data center market, including client requirements, site selection criteria, energy procurement strategies, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Proven experience in supporting development activities such as site diligence, permitting, land use, or infrastructure coordination.
• Experience working with cross-functional internal teams and external consultants.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Capability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to travel 20% as necessary across U.S. markets.
• Ability to navigate undeveloped land and active project locations.
