Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement predictive, statistical, and machine learning models to facilitate operational and product decisions.

• Extract, clean, and transform both structured and unstructured data from various sources utilizing Python and SQL.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to discover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights within extensive datasets.

• Develop and maintain automated data pipelines, machine learning workflows, and ETL processes for efficient model training and evaluation.

• Research and prototype innovative algorithms and statistical methods to improve product integrity and enhance user experience.

• Create automated processes employing NLP techniques to reveal hidden insights from textual data.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and clinical teams to establish data requirements and maintain data integrity.

• Document modeling strategies, data mining methods, and outcomes for internal assessment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 1 year of experience working as a data scientist or in a comparable role.

• 1 year of experience with Restful APIs.

• 1 year of experience in designing, developing, and sustaining end-to-end machine learning pipelines on Azure Databricks using Pyspark, scikit-learn, and pandas.

• 1 year of experience creating models utilizing NLP techniques with tools such as Huggingface, NLTK, Sentence BERT model, transformers, and fine-tuning.

• 1 year of experience in designing medical document classification models using XGBoost and neural networks.

• 1 year of experience in experimenting, designing, and tracking machine learning models with MLFlow and Hyperopt library.

• 1 year of experience in developing solutions tailored to healthcare data challenges while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
