📋 Description

• Design and develop new resilient batch and real-time data pipelines that power essential products and accelerate business growth.

• Create and establish data pipelines to facilitate the transition from existing disparate data models and sources to new data models and databases in a production environment.

• Advocate for data reliability and performance by implementing proactive monitoring and quality-first engineering practices.

• Enhance data models to support swift and efficient decision-making across high-impact product and business use cases.

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data science teams to swiftly convert evolving business requirements into scalable, production-ready data solutions.

• Influence the future of data engineering at scale by helping to define the long-term roadmap and establishing best practices as the organization expands.

• Mentor and elevate teammates, promoting a culture of learning, ownership, and continuous improvement.

• Exhibit strong self-direction and excel in ambiguous environments, making informed decisions even when clear solutions are not immediately available.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of relevant industry experience.

• Skilled in Java, Scala, or Python, with advanced expertise in data processing technologies and the ability to write complex SQL queries.

• Demonstrated history of driving innovation within highly technical, distributed teams. You have successfully completed complex projects and are driven by solving high-impact challenges while enhancing user experience.

• Proven experience in designing, building, and managing robust distributed data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Spark, Flink, Kafka) and working with large datasets.

• Significant experience in building, productionalizing, and optimizing both real-time and batch data pipelines.
