This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with teams throughout the organization to convert data into valuable insights that facilitate informed decision-making.
• Assist leaders in comprehending business performance, pinpointing areas for enhancement, and assessing the effects of strategic initiatives.
• Exceptional analysts do more than just report occurrences; they aid teams in understanding the reasons behind them and the subsequent actions to take.
• Design and evaluate experiments, pilots, and performance assessments that distinguish significant signals from irrelevant noise, supporting assured decision-making.
• Create dashboards and reports that grant leaders visibility into operational effectiveness, customer results, and organizational wellbeing.
• Examine data from various sources to uncover patterns, emerging opportunities, risks, and areas ripe for improvement.
• Employ segmentation, cohort analysis, and behavioral data to gain insights into customers, users, or operational processes while identifying opportunities for enhanced outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to address high-impact business inquiries, assess trade-offs, and deliver analytical recommendations.
• Enhance data quality, instrumentation, and reporting by identifying deficiencies in current data collection processes and assisting teams in gathering essential information for informed decision-making.
• Foster trust in business decisions by designing analyses and conveying insights that help teams recognize what is effective and what requires adjustment.
• Transform data into strategic guidance by uncovering trends, identifying opportunities, and offering actionable recommendations.
• Ensure visibility into organizational performance through dashboards, reports, and metrics that stakeholders depend on daily.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business challenges, assess options, and ensure decisions are data-driven.
• Develop significant metrics and reporting frameworks that empower teams to continuously measure success and monitor progress over time.
• Identify opportunities to enhance business processes, customer experiences, and operational efficiency through careful analysis.
• Clarify complex issues by posing the right questions, delving into the data, and providing insights that propel the business forward.
• Utilize data to steer decisions. You have a proven history of addressing complex business challenges through comprehensive analysis and influencing decisions with data.
• Possess strong analytical fundamentals. SQL is a fundamental part of your skill set, and you are adept at working with large datasets to derive meaningful insights.
• Look beyond mere reporting. You don’t simply create dashboards; you investigate root causes, discover opportunities, and suggest actions.
• Communicate with clarity. You can articulate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, assisting stakeholders in making informed decisions.
• Thrive on resolving ambiguous problems. You are comfortable initiating with a business question—not a predefined report—and determining the necessary data, analyses, or metrics to provide an answer.
• Adapt swiftly to new tools and technologies. You enjoy exploring new platforms and methods, focusing on solving issues rather than sticking to a specific technology stack.
• Bring familiarity with modern analytics tools. Experience with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar analytics platforms is advantageous but not mandatory. Outstanding analysts can master new tools; exceptional critical thinking is more challenging to teach.
