This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Monitor and analyze trends in healthcare utilization, collaborating with stakeholders to target key areas for enhancing quality and cost outcomes, focusing on aspects such as home care, transportation, specialists, and facilities.
• Employ practical visualization and report development skills to produce clear, concise, and professional reports that are visually appealing and provide an exceptional user experience.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ascertain their data visualization and reporting requirements, design report prototypes, and refine and co-create a final visual solution.
• Effectively communicate with business users, stakeholders, and leaders regarding the application of business and clinical logic to data points, leading to key KPIs and metrics, and how operational activities connect to KPIs, OKRs, and more.
• Develop visual information delivery design reports that enhance the presentation, delivery, and consumption of data for clinical and operational staff, stakeholders, and leaders.
• Cultivate relationships and trust with business partners.
• Work closely with the Business Information Management team to create business-facing semantic layers (data marts) and foundational information structures that integrate with Power BI, simplifying data acquisition.
• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field or relevant discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Actuarial certification is highly advantageous.
• A minimum of five (5) years specializing in healthcare economics or actuarial-based analytics with hands-on experience in medical claims.
• Experience with HEDIS or similar quality measurement is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI is a notable plus.
• At least five (5) years of experience in business information architecture, business metric governance, metric cataloging, and data dictionaries.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of analytics experience utilizing SQL/Databricks, with an emphasis on transforming business information into visualizations, reports, and business-facing information delivery solutions.
