This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of the scientific vision and technical strategy for the Magnets division.
β’ Manage the conversion of generative design results into a solid intellectual property portfolio.
β’ Develop, guide, and support a diverse team of research scientists.
β’ Define and prioritize the magnetism-aware LQM, data generation, and multi-scale modeling functionalities needed from the AISim platform.
β’ Drive scientific collaborations with both national laboratories and industry partners.
β’ Design the feedback mechanisms between computational modeling and experimental lab validation.
β’ Collaborate closely with the commercial team to identify potential buyers for intellectual property and negotiate agreements.
β’ Compose scientific narratives for external communications, including updates, publications, conferences, and investor relations.
β’ Doctorate in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
β’ Over 5 years of post-doctoral experience leading scientific initiatives in magnetic materials.
β’ Proven ability to translate first-principles, multi-scale, and machine learning-driven modeling into viable magnet formulations.
β’ Established history of building and leading interdisciplinary scientific teams.
β’ Exceptional external scientific presence, demonstrated through publication and patent achievements.
