This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Prepare commercial data for downstream use in analytics, reporting, planning processes, and commercial systems, ensuring that outputs are comprehensive, consistent, and aligned with established business definitions.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance the data warehouse by creating ETL solutions and automated data flows, fostering an analytics “as-a-service” environment within the EMEA region.
• Implement and uphold market- and country-specific business rules, transformations, and calculations to support local commercial models, KPIs, incentives, and decision-making processes.
• Conduct systematic quality checks on staged datasets to validate them against source systems, identifying any gaps, inconsistencies, or anomalies prior to release.
• Serve as the business intelligence partner for the EMEA organization while collaborating with global counterparts to develop the Global data and analytics platform.
• Collaborate with business owners and technical teams to intake requests and formulate analytical proposals and solutions.
• Work closely with the Commercial Analytics, CRM Operations, MDM, and Sales Operations teams to ensure data requirements are understood and that the staged outputs meet downstream consumption needs.
• Document the staging logic, transformation rules, calculation methodologies, and market-specific exceptions to guarantee transparency, repeatability, and auditability.
• Facilitate ongoing enhancements by updating staging logic in response to shifts in business rules, commercial models, country-specific requirements, or upstream data sources.
• Monitor and assess data quality metrics related to staged datasets, proactively identifying opportunities for improving robustness, consistency, and reusability.
• A Bachelor’s degree is typically required, along with a minimum of 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in data operations, data preparation, analytics enablement, or reporting roles where transforming and validating data for downstream use is essential.
• Strong comprehension of how business rules, calculations, and data definitions influence analytics, reporting, and commercial decision-making.
• Experience with multi-country or regional commercial data, including managing market-specific logic and local exceptions.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to systematically test, reconcile, and validate data outputs across various sources.
• Proficient in documenting logic, assumptions, and methodologies to ensure that data transformations are transparent, repeatable, and auditable.
• Effective communicator capable of collaborating with analytics teams, operations teams, and business stakeholders.
• An execution-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement in data quality, scalability, and reliability.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and consistency are vital for business confidence and decision-making.
• Over 4 years of experience with Tableau, SQL, database management, and data integration.
• Preference for experience in Python-based data integration and pipeline development.
• Preference for experience with GitHub, Oracle, S3, and the Redshift ecosystem.
