Business Resumption Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee server restoration activities, which include deploying virtual machines, rebuilding systems, and addressing Active Directory challenges to restore essential business services.

• Identify and mitigate malware across various environments, ensuring that threats are neutralized without hindering recovery efforts.

• Implement security applications throughout enterprise infrastructures to strengthen systems during and after incident response.

• Monitor and address security alerts to ensure stability throughout the recovery phase.

• Gather forensic artifacts from different operating systems using authorized DFIR tools.

• Serve as the technical lead during incident response and restoration, providing comprehensive documentation and structured progress reports.

• Develop and revise procedures to foster continuous improvement of response and recovery processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Basic understanding of enterprise security principles and best practices.

• Familiarity with enterprise network architecture and the interconnections of systems in practical settings.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.

• Exceptional time-management and prioritization skills, particularly in fast-paced or uncertain environments.

• A resourceful and self-motivated learner who can quickly research and apply new information.

• A cooperative team player who can also work autonomously when necessary.

• A degree is preferred, along with 3+ years of relevant experience, though it is not mandatory.

• SentinelOne Siren certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
