This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership on clinical decisions concerning Trust & Safety, error-detection modules, and root cause analysis.
• Track errors in AI-generated clinical summaries and notes through human annotations, AI monitoring, and client feedback; quantify, categorize, and report on trends.
• Develop and validate automated root cause analyses for AI errors while performing manual root cause analysis when necessary.
• Analyze error trends, identify necessary repairs, inform prioritization, and escalate urgent patient-safety concerns.
• Provide clinical oversight for SafeRead, the human-in-the-loop review system, emphasizing reviewer performance, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Assist in the operations of SafeRead, including reviewer scheduling, hiring, special-project assignments, auditing, feedback, training, and onboarding.
• Enhance clinical error taxonomies and severity definitions in collaboration with Data Science, Data Analytics, and internal stakeholders.
• Work together on clinical prompt engineering, testing, and optimization of AI adversarial-detection systems, including the curation of gold-standard evaluation datasets.
• Oversee and manage Associate Clinical Specialist activities related to data collection and analysis, prompt testing and validation, reviewer scheduling, and communications.
• Facilitate Trust & Safety meetings and cross-functional collaboration, involving relevant internal, marketing, and sales initiatives.
• MD or DO.
• A minimum of 5 years of patient-care experience, including at least 2 years in inpatient care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical documentation, patient safety, and healthcare quality.
• Experience in analyzing quality data and presenting results to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to convert clinical risks into product requirements and prioritization recommendations.
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Background in training, auditing, or supervising clinical staff or reviewers.
• Familiarity with generative AI, machine-learning evaluation, or healthcare technology.
• A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate, inspire, and work closely with team members.
• Nice to have: Experience in evaluating AI-generated clinical documentation.
• Nice to have: Experience with clinical prompt engineering.
• Nice to have: Proficiency in SQL, Python, business intelligence tools, or advanced spreadsheet analysis.
• Nice to have: Certification or graduate training in patient safety, healthcare quality, clinical informatics, responsible AI, or data analytics.
