This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Utilize your skills in planning and organizing, financial analysis, vendor management, and IT risk management.
• Coordinate, develop, and sustain a strategic roadmap for IT infrastructure.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses for infrastructure initiatives.
• Create detailed budgets and forecasts for IT infrastructure investments.
• Monitor and provide reports on the ROI for infrastructure projects.
• Facilitate meetings, strategic workshops, and planning sessions.
• Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT infrastructure performance.
• Evaluate and select third-party vendors for hardware, software, and managed services.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize IT risks, including cybersecurity threats, data integrity concerns, and system downtime.
• Supervise the execution of infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure planning, with a minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing or regulated industry (experience in medical devices is highly preferred).
• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, vendor management, and IT risk management.
• Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure components (e.g., virtualization, cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure, networking, storage solutions).
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and ERP (e.g., Oracle EBS).
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and planning for system reliability.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical teams, executives, and external vendors through virtual platforms.
