Staff Braze Solution Architect – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the existing state of marketing technology and operations alongside Growth leadership.

• Identify obstacles and limitations that may hinder future objectives.

• Guide the transition towards a flexible, modular marketing engine from a technical operations standpoint.

• Align strategic initiatives and resources to fulfill leadership timelines.

• Mentor, train, and enhance the skills of the internal Growth Operations team.

• Design and construct modular, responsive HTML/CSS template frameworks within Braze.

• Create advanced Liquid logic, dynamic personalization, behavioral filters, and intricate Canvas audience branching schemas.

• Implement technical configurations for sophisticated segmentation, propensity-based targeting, and automated win-back strategies.

• Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams effectively.

• Complete onboarding and familiarize oneself with the architectural goals of Growth 3.0.

• Align requirements and constraints with martech development alongside product, engineering, and Growth subject-matter experts.

• Lead the launch preparations for 10–30 current email playbook templates.

• Develop modular HTML/CSS email templates in Braze utilizing creative assets.

• Apply complex Liquid logic and Canvas workflows.

• Establish enablement checkpoints and a coaching schedule with Growth Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in architecting and executing within Braze, including Canvases, segments, connected content, and user-profile schemas.

• Advanced proficiency in the Liquid markup language for dynamic template personalization.

• Expertise in responsive, client-proof HTML/CSS compilation optimized for contemporary ESPs.

• Strong comprehension of martech data-flow architecture, API payloads, and lifecycle integrations.

• Experience in designing and implementing repeatable AI-driven workflows that alleviate team bottlenecks and enhance efficiency.

• Exhibits curiosity, humility, and the capability to lead through influence at a senior level.

• Ability to manage sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA requirements.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Required to disclose familial relationships with existing Virta employees.
