đź“‹ Description

• Develop and sustain SentiLink’s fraud detection models throughout the complete model development lifecycle: from data acquisition decisions to featurization, efficiently allocating labeling resources, model training, experimentation, production deployment, and monitoring.

• Establish foundational models to enhance SentiLink’s growing range of Fraud and Financial Risk products.

• Investigate emerging types of fraud and create new SentiLink products centered around identity verification.

• Attain success by conducting research and development through iterative processes, integrating novel data sources, and innovative feature engineering.

• Author production-ready code that can be trusted for real-time decision-making by our partners.

• Design, execute, and present analyses that will guide data acquisition, product development, risk operations priorities, marketing, and sales initiatives.

• Collaborate with engineering, risk operations, and data acquisition teams to access necessary data, maintain data quality, and facilitate data access.


⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant work experience with a relevant PhD or 8+ years with a relevant Master's degree.

• Demonstrated history of resolving complex and high-profile business challenges with Data Science and Machine Learning solutions.

• Proven experience in communicating results and progress to senior management and stakeholders.

• Strong expertise in “end-to-end” Data Science development: Planning, defining success criteria and metrics, obtaining buy-in, developing the solution, and delivering the final product (including presentations, strategy documents, etc.).

• Solid practical knowledge in Machine Learning and Statistics; able to effectively utilize standard ML and statistical tools to quickly outline solutions and deepen focus as necessary. Familiarity with state-of-the-art ML solutions is a plus.

• Eagerness to develop deep domain expertise for product-oriented work; a background in fraud is not mandatory, but a willingness to learn is essential.

• Experience in writing production code and developing tests.

• Detail-oriented and thoughtful—someone we can trust to make impactful business decisions.

• Bonus for familiarity with identity solutions, fintech, or related industries.

• Experience in a startup environment is highly preferred.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting characterized by the need to tackle diverse, high-impact, and open-ended challenges.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must reside in the United States.
