Senior Content Researcher

📋 Description

• Discover and curate original news stories, trending subjects, and viral moments for short-form video creation.

• Locate high-quality user-generated content (UGC) that showcases compelling storytelling and obtain necessary permissions when needed.

• Conduct thorough research on stories, providing context and uncovering additional information to craft captivating, original content.

• Collaborate across various Pubity Group brands, with a specific emphasis on Pubity.

• Assist in sourcing engaging stories and visuals for Facebook static content by identifying timely and interesting topics.

• Work in tandem with the Content Research Manager and freelance researchers to ensure a steady flow of content opportunities.

• Stay informed about breaking news, internet trends, and emerging discussions on social media platforms.

• Utilize AI tools, research platforms, and reliable content partners to enhance the speed and quality of sourcing.

• Contribute to the development of sourcing processes while upholding consistently high editorial standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in content sourcing, content research, journalism, social media, or a related field.

• Strong grasp of the elements that drive content performance across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

• Exceptional research abilities with a knack for quickly and accurately verifying information.

• Proven track record in identifying viral UGC and newsworthy stories prior to their mainstream popularity.

• Proficient in using Slack, AI tools, and third-party content sourcing platforms.

• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple stories at once.

• Superior written communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

• A genuine enthusiasm for internet culture, social media, and digital publishing.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, newsroom-style environment.

• Must possess the legal right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
