πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Take charge of the systems, architecture, technical strategy, and roadmap for Compliance Data, which includes data models, pipelines, quality frameworks, and certification processes.

β€’ Develop production-level solutions, data models, and pipelines that encompass user, transaction, and compliance data across retail and institutional product lines.

β€’ Create robust data foundations that ensure durability, auditability, and accessibility for analysts and AI agents.

β€’ Set up data contracts, validation frameworks, monitoring, and reconciliation logic to enhance data quality from the source.

β€’ Collaborate with upstream engineering teams, Compliance leadership, and downstream users to identify data gaps and proactively accommodate product changes.

β€’ Establish standards that ensure compliance data is reliable and self-serviceable.

β€’ Lead the team in responding to regulatory examinations, audits, and urgent data requests.

β€’ Develop repeatable processes that minimize future manual workload.

β€’ Influence engineering standards and technical culture through architectural choices, code reviews, mentorship, and well-documented infrastructure.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Over 8 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or other data-intensive technical roles, showcasing technical leadership across teams or domains.

β€’ Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for developing production pipelines, executing complex transformations, automating data quality, and utilizing orchestration frameworks such as dbt, Airflow, or similar.

β€’ Experience in designing and managing canonical or certified data models that serve multiple downstream teams.

β€’ Extensive knowledge of dimensional modeling, data contracts, and contemporary warehouse architecture, including Snowflake and Databricks.

β€’ Proven track record of leading under regulatory scrutiny and providing accurate data for examinations, audits, or filings where mistakes have significant implications.

β€’ Experience in driving technical direction and impacting engineering practices beyond the immediate team.

β€’ Capacity to define complex project scopes and make independent architectural decisions.

β€’ Experience in mentoring fellow engineers.

β€’ Responsible application of generative AI with human oversight to produce business-ready outputs and enhance workflow efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
