Staff Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage the governed semantic and metrics layer.

• Establish metrics within the code for uniformity.

• Create and construct well-documented, tested data models on Redshift.

• Deliver embedded, self-service analytics solutions.

• Ensure the reliability of the data layer for AI applications.

• Oversee the migration from Oracle BI to Omni.

• Generate reusable patterns and libraries to enhance team efficiency.

• Collaborate across platforms, products, and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence.

• Proficient in SQL with extensive knowledge of dimensional and semantic data modeling.

• Significant experience with transformation frameworks like dbt.

• Strong expertise in Amazon Redshift or Snowflake.

• Familiarity with version control, testing, CI/CD, documentation, and data lineage.

• Practical experience in creating embedded, multi-tenant, customer-facing analytics.

• Background in migrating from a legacy BI platform.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
