This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Stay updated on trends, models, and innovations in AI security while providing guidance on suitable architectures.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Application Security teams to ensure the secure use of AI across the platform.
• Work alongside Architecture to securely support internal AI productivity initiatives.
• Recommend or implement AI guardrails and controls to reduce data-loss risks and prevent unauthorized or insecure AI usage.
• Mentor Security teams on how to leverage AI for enhanced security benefits.
• Maintain documentation and guidance on AI governance, addressing employee inquiries and concerns.
• Lead complex, project-oriented security improvements across infrastructure, applications, and the corporate environment.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to design, build, and deploy scalable and resilient security solutions.
• Develop tools, guardrails, and automated workflows that facilitate secure software delivery.
• Identify gaps in security posture, create remediation plans, and implement them to their full potential.
• Act as a security advisor to engineering, product, and R&D teams.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level Information Security & Risk engineers.
• Over 9 years of specialized experience in security engineering, application security, infrastructure security, data security, or cloud security.
• Demonstrated ability to transform unclear security challenges into structured project plans and see them through to completion.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• A passion for continuous learning and a keen interest in Information Security.
• Ability to cultivate strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Extensive expertise in AI, including AWS services, LLMs, MCP, agentic agents, frameworks, governance and regulations, attacks, guardrails, and costs.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, particularly AWS security services.
• Robust experience with authentication and authorization protocols and securing non-human identities.
• AI-related certifications such as AAISM, AAIA, or CAISP are preferred.
• Familiarity with the NIST AI Framework or the EU Artificial Intelligence Act is a plus.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATLAS or OWASP Top 10 for LLMs is advantageous.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Security is preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future visa sponsorship and be authorized to start work in the U.S. on the first day.
