This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, construct, and enhance ML/DL models tailored for production-level audio deepfake detection, ensuring reliability under various real-world scenarios, including compression artifacts, noise, telephony, and streaming processes.
• Collaborate with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their production settings and establish model performance standards.
• Analyze failure instances within client environments, create custom evaluation frameworks, and apply mitigation strategies that encompass both Engineering and AI domains.
• Create and implement structured experimentation plans that align with client specifications and proactive system resilience objectives. Transform findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Monitor, assess, and report on model performance in production utilizing data analytics and AI observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Metabase). Detect degradation trends, data drift, and emerging threat indicators before they affect client outcomes.
• Construct and sustain dashboards and analytics pipelines that display model health metrics, facilitating data-driven decisions among AI, Engineering, and Product teams.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams — Applied Scientists, Deployment Engineers, and Product teams — to implement scalable, production-ready models with defined performance metrics and monitoring systems established.
• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Signal Processing, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Over 2 years of professional experience in building and deploying ML/DL models for AI products.
• Proficient programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX).
• Strong grasp of audio processing fundamentals, classification and detection metrics (ROC, DET curves, precision/recall trade-offs), model robustness, and evaluation.
• Demonstrated experience with large-scale training and benchmarking systems.
• Previous experience in a client-facing or solutions-oriented AI position is an advantage.
• Preference for candidates who are comfortable with EST working hours.
• Comprehensive healthcare plans with 100% premium coverage for employees and partial coverage for dependents.
