Staff AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement AI solutions: Assume responsibility for creating engaging, high-performance AI features that assist users in discovering, organizing, and optimizing access to extensive datasets.

• Quick experimentation and iteration: Establish a fast-paced iterative process where you swiftly prototype, test, and validate with actual users, including launching and refining LLM- or agent-driven workflows for the data engineering lifecycle.

• Team collaboration: Partner with colleagues to define AI-enhanced product features, integrating agentic elements with internal tools like Slack and alert systems while collaborating with internal data teams for practical testing.

• Effective utilization of AI tools: Leverage AI and automation tools to improve both product capabilities and your development workflows.

• Strong communication skills: You will be operating in a highly dynamic and cooperative setting, so we require someone who can communicate clearly and contribute across various teams.

• Ownership and influence: Assume complete ownership of the AI solutions you create, ensuring they are innovative, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with genuine user workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with LLMs, context engineering, and developing applications driven by GenAI.

• Demonstrated success in delivering software that has been deployed to production and is actively utilized by users.

• Familiarity with cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Experience using observability tools to analyze and troubleshoot system behavior.
