AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and launch production-quality applications utilizing various LLMs, context optimization, and more.

• Create and implement complex, multi-step, and multi-agent workflows using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.

• Construct and enhance RAG pipelines, including the implementation and management of embeddings, vector databases, and advanced rerankers to improve response quality and relevance.

• Employ code generation tools (e.g., Replit, Cursor, Google AI Studio, Git Hub Copilot in Agent mode, etc.) to develop complete applications (covering both frontend and backend), generate tests, conduct testing, and integrate them into the core product without writing any code.

• Spearhead LLM fine-tuning efforts (e.g., LoRA, QLoRA) for specific domain knowledge and tasks, while implementing strategies for efficiency.

• Innovate and enhance advanced prompt engineering techniques to optimize model performance, consistency, and safety.

• Take ownership of end-to-end implementation from the frontend to the backend.

• Expose AI/LLM capabilities developed in Python through Java services, utilizing multi-threading in Java to enhance the AI/LLM functionality created in Python.

• Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, etc.) to efficiently generate, refactor, and optimize high-quality code.

• Collaborate closely with team leads, managers, QA, product managers, and the team in the US, which will require a willingness to partially work during US working hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field; an advanced degree is an advantage.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2 years concentrating on AI/ML development, particularly with LLMs.

• Strong proficiency in Python and its relevant data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).

• Demonstrated experience integrating and working with major LLM APIs—both public and private/local, such as Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, Ollama, etc., including hands-on experience with techniques for LLM efficiency.

• At least 1 year of substantial practical experience with LangChain and LangGraph for developing complex LLM applications and agentic workflows using autonomous agents, tools, memory management, parallelization, etc.

• Practical experience with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, including the ability to safely incorporate AI-generated code into production (validation, CI/CD).

• Solid understanding and implementation experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, vector search, embeddings, and reranking mechanisms.

• Experience utilizing AI Copilot or similar generative AI coding tools for accelerated development, code generation, refactoring, optimization, and vibe coding to create cohesive backend and frontend applications.

• Experience in creating user interfaces using React and integrating the UI with the backend through REST APIs is a significant plus.

• Hands-on experience with Java, particularly in integrating Java modules with Python modules, is a nice-to-have but not essential.
