Staff AI Engineer – 2nd Horizon

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of creating and implementing AI solutions: Develop engaging, high-performance AI features that assist users in discovering, organizing, and optimizing access to extensive datasets.

• Engage in rapid experimentation and iteration: Establish a highly iterative approach to swiftly prototype, test, and validate with real users, including the release and enhancement of LLM- or agent-powered workflows for the data engineering lifecycle.

• Collaborate effectively: Partner with team members to design AI-driven product features, incorporating agentic components with internal tools such as Slack and alerting systems while collaborating with internal data teams for practical application.

• Leverage AI tools efficiently: Utilize AI and automation tools to improve both product capabilities and your own development processes.

• Communicate effectively: You will be part of a fast-paced and collaborative environment, so we require someone who can communicate well and contribute across various teams.

• Take ownership and make an impact: Assume full responsibility for the AI solutions you create, ensuring they are not only innovative but also scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the workflows of real users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with LLMs, context engineering, and developing applications powered by GenAI.

• A solid history of delivering software that has been deployed to production and is actively utilized by users.

• Familiarity with operating in cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Experience using observability tools to analyze and troubleshoot system behavior.
