AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and take charge of Guidewire's overarching AI architecture vision.

• Design and oversee the implementation of production AI systems.

• Manage the complete AI architecture stack.

• Assist in defining standards for enterprise AI security and governance.

• Lead intricate, cross-team AI initiatives from start to finish.

• Facilitate technology assessments and decisions regarding build versus buy.

• Collaborate with Data Governance, Security, Legal, and Compliance teams.

• Mentor senior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 12 years of experience in enterprise software architecture.

• At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering scalable production AI/ML or LLM-based systems.

• Proven success in managing large-scale enterprise AI initiatives.

• Expertise in AWS services such as Bedrock, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, Kinesis, IAM, and VPC.

• Comprehensive understanding of full-stack AI including event ingestion and streaming pipelines, vector and graph databases, LLM orchestration, and API design.

• Experience with AI observability and assessment.

• Familiarity with iPaaS and integration architecture.

• More than 5 years of experience in technical leadership roles.

• Strong communication skills and a commanding executive presence.

• Proven experience in deploying Generative AI systems in production settings.
